Who we are

Theins is made and run by Its Good Inc. (itsgood.ai). Questions: [email protected].

What we keep

• Your phone number, and whether you have opted in or out of texts.
• Your texts with Theins and its replies, so it can follow the conversation.
• What you teach Theins about yourself: preferences, corrections and facts you share. This is how it gets better for you. Card numbers and street addresses texted to Theins are removed from the stored conversation.
• If you connect Gmail, messages from that mailbox, read only. Disconnecting deletes them and the access.
• If you connect a bank or card, Stripe Financial Connections handles that link. We receive balances and transactions, never your bank password.
• Basic server logs (IP address, request path, time) for security and debugging, kept for a limited period.

How we use it

• To answer you and do what you ask.
• To personalize Theins for you and to improve the models and systems that run it.
• We don't sell, rent or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

Who helps run Theins

Hosting and database (Railway, PostgreSQL); text delivery (Sendblue); the AI models that write answers (xAI's Grok, and Anthropic's Claude as a backup and to check answers); web search (Brave); Gmail (Google) and bank links (Stripe) only if you connect them. Each gets only what it needs for its part, for example the question and the recent conversation for the model that answers it.

Retention and deletion

Texts and the records of how each answer was produced are deleted after 90 days. What you taught Theins stays until you change it or delete your account. Deleting your account from your account page removes your number, texts, saved facts, connected mailbox data and bank links. Text STOP to stop all texts without deleting anything.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Sessions use random tokens that we store only as one-way hashes. Every read and write of your data is tied to your account.
